I found the presentation style, with the constant trivial affirmations, grating. That, I suspect, reflects more on me than the presentation though.
And, thinking back across the podcast, it’s quite ‘samey’ in tone
The use of analogies for everything was clear and clever in parts but the OS calls being a ‘personal assistant’ not an API was a miss for me
The description of zero page as being where the os lives has some truth but isn’t really the whole story
That said, I was astounded that it picked its way through the NAUG. Highlighting some of the unusual or key features ‘the toob’, interrupts and paged ROMs. Making jokes, and being very positive about the machine being so advanced
Leaving me with the word ‘scary’ in mind.
