On page 232, under 15.3.4 Long delays for interrupts, it states (emphasis mine):
The original reads 10ms for the modes 0-3 part, and that would make the second point valid indeed.In modes 0-3, this delay can be up to 100 ns in the very worst case.
[...]
The interrupt delay is only 4ms at worst in modes 4-6, so most actions which require a fast response can be executed in one of these modes.
