I think the game that was altered because of the Piper Alpha disaster became Pipeline (Superior) by Ian Holmes, who I was at secondary school with at the time. I vaguely remember him showing me the original version. He also wrote Galactic Dan for RISC OS machines with another friend who created the 3D models using Deluxe Paint on an Amiga 500.

Anyway I'd love to see the Beeb version too.
