A 200K disk image should be 204,800 bytes in size, this file is 204,831 bytes which is too large and so is invalid and rejected. It should work if you remove the last 31 bytes from the file.I'm being very puzzled.
I downloaded v100.ssd from https://mdfs.net/System/C/6502/ and opened c.welcome with Disc Image Manager, it shows me the source file as expected:
c.welcome_dim.png
If I run mame bbcm -flop1 v100.ssd (mame -version gives 0.268 (unknown)) and then *TYPE c.welcome I get gobbledegook:
c.welcome_mame.png
An emergenty boot of b-em show the contents of the file as expected:
c.welcome_b-em.png
Any idea what's happeneing in MAME? Or what I've done wrong? Thanks.
