Hello, sorry for the stupid question but I'm really not sure of the answer. I have a BBC model B and recently bought a Gotek drive.
I read somewhere that I could use the Gotek drive to load Rom images as if they were physical chips. I found a website with a whole bunch of Rom images for various things.
I was considering buying a second hand Watford Electronics sideways Rom board (for up to 10 Roms and 2 Ram chips) off ebay but the price is not cheap at around £50 with no Roms included.
My question is, now I have a Gotek - in practical terms, do I even need a physical sideways Rom board and Rom chips?
Regards
