You'll probably want to remove the flashing cursor from the display for this. I use VDU23;8202;0;0;0; to do so but I can't swear that works across every OS...

) that would be nice, although theres not much to it so i eould be surprised, and it would feel a bit silly to nominate it myself. i will definitely implement that, but will probably be a while until you see it on the owlet, as all development is done on my beeb, then retyped onto owlet, so not worth releasing small fixes on their own, unless there is a lot of them
