That's interesting. I didn't think it was possible to display the minitel character set on the beeb. I'm guessing that that is a mode 1 rendering. Did you notice any problems with colours?
I remember minitel from the early 90's it already looked quite old-fashioned in some ways but really was ahead of its time in others. Unjustly I initially dismiss it as "just like Prestel'" but I never manged to successfully order a pizza on Prestel!
