Does anyone know if Inter-Word supports any facility whereby information can be obtained programmatically? For example, at the main menu, colon commands can be used to display information about packages in use, and transfer data between different packages, such as :INFO or :PAGES which will list the current Inter-Word, and ROM-link, packages and memory allocation. Can that information be obtained using some sort of OS call which returns the data into a memory block? Or, failing that, is there any information about Inter-Word memory usage which would show where this information is stored in RAM?
Specifically what I would like to do is discover which is the next Inter-Word package available for use so I can select it and load a file into it without overwriting the contents of another package.
