Sorry for not replying sooner - I wasn't 100% sure of the answer, because I knew that the applications in the !Apps folder are just stubs and don't contain the actual !RunImage files. I just had to remind myself of how to get to them (never needed to know before).Which files do you need?
Anyway - it's not necessary now, because I think your latest experience has conclusively proved there's nothing amiss with the ROMs. Quite apart from the checksum issue already mentioned, there's no way a rom can go bad and then get better again!
My best guess is that maybe some of the socket contacts are dirty and don't always read reliably? I'm not convinced by the logic of that though.
